September 21, 2006

This is actually my first visit to your blog. I am 28 years old, and have been an active yoga practitioner for the last 3 years. I too, have bunions, bad ones. So bad, that on my left foot, my toes have already turned. I don't know how bad yours were at 21, but I can tell you, that I've done all the therapy there is. I have found numerous challenges in my practice, because my feet no longer root down ( due to the bone abnormality). I never wanted surgery, but I fear now it's the only option. My bones won't move back. I agree with you, that if I knew of a way to prevent these from progressing further when I was younger, I would have, but now, I guess it will have to be surgery, followed by zentherapy to recover.
Thanks for writing this.
